Writing Italy: Potentino. 10th - 16th SEPTEMber 2022.

I am joining forces with acclaimed biographer and travel writer Julian Evans next September to deliver a unique experience for non-fiction writers in Italy.

Whether you write about travel, history, biography or memoir, food or nature, time spent with us at Castello di Potentino (potentino.com) will be both a pleasure and an inspiration.

Each day will bring a new experience, from a tasting of Potentino’s organic wines to cheese making with local shepherds, or a dive into village life at the local market: lived experiences you will then work to capture on the page.

With daily masterclasses and one-to-one tutorials, you will work at your own pace in the superb comfort of the castle. And you can expect to end each day by enjoying robust food, wine and conversation in the bohemian atmosphere of the castle dining room.

Special guests will be Rachel Roddy whose weekly column in the London Guardian has a loyal following, and Derek Johns, who has recently stepped down from running London’s oldest literary agency.
